Attendance
A student is permitted three absences per semester in a given course. All absences beyond this will be unexcused, and no work may be made up for unexcused days. Exception - A doctor's note because of prolonged illness. No credit will be given if one-fourth of the classes are missed in a semester class.
Code of conduct
We require that those attending the Institute follow a few basic rules and regulations. Heritage Baptist Institute is a training ground for Baptists; therefore, those enrolling in H.B.I. must attend a fundamental Baptist church and be in complete agreement with our Statement of Faith.
H.B.I. students are expected to be actively involved in their respective local church. This would include at least one hour of soul-winning or outreach, one church ministry, and passing out at least 10 tracts per week. Each student will be required to complete a Christian service report weekly.
Students are expected to live a Godly life, separated from the world.
No one will be allowed to attend H.B.I. if they use drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
